The ArcHab philosophy of providing fast, cost-effective architecture is made possible by our clients providing the measurements of their homes for us. This means that we don't have to spend wasted time travelling to our clients' numerous times to survey the property, therefore keeping costs down, a saving which we pass on to the client
Once we have had a chat about your project, we will post out your measurement pack including a digital laser measure and some squared paper to make it nice and simple for you.
Measuring your home is surprisingly easy. All you need to do is take measurement to give us the distances from walls to windows, window widths and back to the other side of the room. As you can see from this sketch you don't need to be an architect to draw up your floor plans, it can be really a simple drawing.
If you're planning on converting your loft then we just need to know one measurement. The maximum internal height in your loft needs to be a at least 2.4m. Any lower than this and a conversion would result in a ceiling height that is too low. Any photos you can take of your loft will also help us to accurately draw it.
As well as the measurements we will need some photographs of your house. If you take them so all of the rooms are included, then it will allow us to be produce more accurate drawings.
We can get a lot of information from the internet but in order to draw your house accurately we do need to help us draw your house is some photographs of the exterior. If you can take 4 photos from the positions, we show above making sure all of the house is included we can use then to draft your house.
